ToneCoach, powered by Blue Star Marketing Firm, helps learners practice Mandarin pronunciation and speaking confidence. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

We may collect account details such as email address, social-login provider, marketing consent choice, practice activity, selected learning goals, phrase progress, subscription status, and support messages. If you use voice features, audio or derived pronunciation signals may be processed to score tone accuracy and generate feedback.

How We Use Information

We use information to operate the app, score practice sessions, personalize review queues, enforce usage limits, provide support, maintain security, improve product quality, manage subscriptions or refunds, and, when you opt in, send your report, onboarding help, reminders, product updates, and relevant offers.

Marketing Choices

Marketing email is optional. You can decline during account setup or unsubscribe from marketing messages later. We may still send transactional messages needed to operate your account, purchases, security, or support.

Service Providers

We use trusted providers to run the service, including Supabase for authentication and database storage, social-login providers such as Google, Apple, or Facebook when you choose them, Vercel for hosting, Stripe for billing and subscription management, and AI/audio providers such as OpenAI or OpenRouter when related features are enabled.

Audio and Practice Data

Audio is used to provide pronunciation feedback. We do not sell voice recordings. Practice data may be aggregated or anonymized to improve lessons, scoring quality, and product reliability.

Proof and Testimonials

We only publish learner proof, scores, or testimonials with consent. Public proof should not include personally identifying information unless the learner explicitly approves it.

Retention and Deletion

We retain information while needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security. You can request account or data deletion by contacting support.
